Flora municipality has been active with different municipal friendship agreements for many years. In the 1980s and 90s the main focus was on Nordic cooperation with agreements with counterparts in Sweden (Lessebo) and Denmark (Rødekro).
During the last years Flora has cooperated with counterparts in the east and in the South. Today we have active municipal cooperation with Kelme in Lithuania and Nkhotakota in Malawi.
